Our Story

A cleaning company built around better care.

Pure Living grew from a pretty simple belief: taking care of a home should make life feel a little easier. That has mattered to me from the very beginning — for our clients, for their families, and for the people who do the work.

Beginnings

It started with a mission trip.

I started cleaning when I was fifteen, saving money for a mission trip to Ireland. It was supposed to be a way to earn some extra money — but I quickly realized I genuinely enjoyed the work. There was something really rewarding about helping someone come home to a space that felt calmer than when they left it.

Later, when I was working several jobs at once, I got to experience the other side of it. I'd come home exhausted and still have an entire house waiting for me. I understood how heavy that can feel — and how much of a difference it makes when someone takes even one of those responsibilities off your plate.

I realized how much lighter home can feel when someone takes one thing off your plate.

Around the same time, my mom's experience with autoimmune disease changed the way I thought about the products we were using. I started researching ingredients, looking for better options, and figuring out how to clean at a professional level without relying on unnecessarily harsh chemicals.

All of those experiences eventually shaped what Pure Living is today: better care for the home, better care for our clients, and better care for the people doing the work.

The Rebrand

Growing into Pure Living.

As the business grew, I realized the name Payge's Green Clean didn't fully represent what we had become anymore. We weren't just a small cleaning company. We had built a professional team, developed stronger systems and standards, and become much more intentional about the experience we wanted to provide.

Pure Living felt like a better reflection of where we were going. To me, it means a home that feels clean, healthy, peaceful, and cared for. It's not about perfection — it's about creating a space that makes everyday life feel a little easier.

Why It Matters

Home should feel like a place to breathe.

I know what it's like to get home after a long day and immediately see another list of things that need to be done. That's why I've never looked at cleaning as just checking tasks off a list.

When we do our job well, we're giving someone a little bit of their time back. We're taking something off their plate. And hopefully, we're helping home feel a little more like the place they actually get to enjoy.

Our Team

Taking care of the people who take care of your home.

One of the things I'm most proud of is the team we've built. I've always believed that if I want our cleaning technicians to provide exceptional care for our clients, we need to provide exceptional care for them too.

Our technicians are W-2 employees — background checked, professionally trained, and held to high standards. But just as importantly, I want them to feel valued and supported here. We invest in competitive pay, ongoing training, and a work environment where people can build something they're proud of.

When people feel respected in their work, you can see it in the work they do.

The Healthier Home

A healthier approach was personal for me.

My mom's experience with autoimmune disease made me start paying much closer attention to what was actually in the products we were bringing into people's homes. I began researching ingredients and testing alternatives that aligned better with what I wanted this company to stand for.

Today, we're intentional about the products we choose. We want them to perform at a professional level while avoiding unnecessary harsh chemicals whenever possible. For me, it's not about "green" marketing — it's about being thoughtful about what we're using around the people and pets who actually live there. What We Value

Four things we don't compromise on.

Care over speed

The work is done properly, in the same order, every visit. Consistency is the product.

Healthier by default

Non-toxic products aren't an upgrade or an add-on here. They're simply what we use.

People first

Competitive pay and a supportive workplace, because valued technicians do better work.

Accountable and local

Woman-owned, insured, and part of the Western New York community we serve.

Community

Giving that care back.

Being part of our local community has always mattered to me, which is why I'm especially proud that Pure Living partners with Cleaning for a Reason. Through the program, we're able to provide free home cleanings to local cancer patients undergoing treatment.

When someone is already carrying that much, cleaning the house should be one less thing they have to worry about.
